This year, thanks to you - our loyal supporters, we have been able to reach out to even more vulnerable HIV+ children, adolescents and pregnant women. With your donations we can have an even bigger impact on the lives of vulnerable HIV+ children in 2016.

In 2015 we have been working to reduce transmission to zero through:
  • Community outreaches - we have worked in 5 of the most at risk communities around Lusaka through 22 outreaches to not only test 5,247 individuals for HIV but to provide wider community awareness, sensitisation and reduce stigma and discrimination which still widely exists in urban dense, poverty stricken communities in Lusaka.
  • Tiny Tim & Friends Clinic - we have been working with 828 patients over the course of the year to improve; adherence rates of our HIV+ patients; improve our patients general health and wellbeing; and monitor individuals lab results to ensure children aren't failing treatment.
  • Counselling - For HIV+ children and teenagers, indepth counselling is essential to ensure they are dealing with their diagnosis  in a positive way, recieveing treatment, adhereing to their medication and are talking about social issues they are facing within the community. In 2015 we held 6,781 counselling sessions, working to improve children's lives.
  • Prevention of Mother to Child transmission - we have continued our mission of reducing transmission to zero by supporting 58 mothers through our PMTCT programme and ensuring no child is born HIV+.
  • Working in the heart of the community - by working with community volunteers  we can reach out to individuals who would otherwise be unknown to TTF. Our community volunteers have supported us this year by; identifying 90 at risk vulnerable individuals in the community in need of testing; undertaking an intense follow up programme with over 140 individuals who were missing their medical appointments; supporting us to ensure that everyone we tested as HIV+ on outreach (105 people) are enrolled into a clinical facility.

None of this work would be possible without the support of our donors, so thank you to everyone who helped our work this year - we wish you a Happy New year and an amazing 2016. We hope you will donate to our work to for 2016 and change children's lives. .
