Tiny Tim and Friends is composed has a highly motivated and skilled team who are passionate about helping HIV+ children and pregnant women in Zambia.
COUNTRY DIRECTOR
Justin Songeya has worked at Tiny Tim and Friends since 2009. Having started within the organisation as a volunteer counselor, his commitment to supporting children has seen him be promoted to Social Worker, Head of Social Work, Deputy Director of Programmes and Operations, and now Country Director. Justin has had an interest in becoming a social worker from a young age and in supporting individuals and children who may not have been offered the best start. Justin’s time and experience within Tiny Tim and Friends means that not only has he worked with the majority of the children we support through our free Clinic, but he understands their needs and therefore is best placed to help develop our programmes.

THE MEDICAL TEAM
The Tiny Tim & Friends Medical Team consists of a Clinical Officer, Nurse Practitioner, Laboratory Technician and a Pharmacy Technician. Our medical team sees approximately 80 children each week during our ARV Clinic on Tuesday, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Each of the children we see is provided intense case management during their visits.
The Medical Team is responsible for liaising with our Social Work team to reccommend children in need of additional psycho social, counselling or nutritional support. Our Medical Advisor is on hand to support the team with all difficult cases and where additional medical attention is required at the clinic. |
THE SOCIAL WORK TEAM
The Tiny Tim & Friends Social Work Team consist of two social workers and two counselors who are responsible for implementing all of our programmatic activities including community outreaches; children, adolescent and care givers support groups; and coordinating the one to one counselling at the TTF Clinic. They provide all of our patients with adherence counselling sessions, disclosure support and nutritional advice, working with the medical team to implement our nutrition programme with those most in need. They form an essential part of our operations; building positive relationships with partner organisations around Lusaka and; working with some of the most at risk children who are suffering with life limiting illnesses and neglect and need a lot of care and counselling support.

MONITORING AND EVALUATION TEAM
The monitoring and evaluation team is responsible for monitoring and evaluating all of our projects and ensuring we are having an impact on the lives of all of the individuals we support. They manage the information and data of TTF Clinic, alerting our social work teams to individuals who have missed appointments and ensuring they continue receiving treatment. They are an essential component of TTF's work in delivering all of our projects, helping our operations run smoothly to benefit the lives of HIV+ children, adolescents and pregnant women.

THE FINANCE & ADMINISTRATION TEAM
Finance and Administration is responsible for the day to day operations of the organization ensuring that all logical and Financial needs are met. By maintaining our financial accounts and conducting regular financial checks, they ensure we are transparent for our donors and that our operations can run smoothly.

TTF USA team is responsible for building our donor base with our USA supporters and also for overseeing the good governance of the organisation through the TTF Board. Our board meets quarterly and is made up of the following individuals:

TINY TIM & FRIENDS ZAMBIA BOARD
The TTF Zambia board meets quarterly to review the organization's progress, provide technical support and create linkages with potential partners in Zambia. The board members are based in Lusaka, Zambia and range in technical backgrounds from public health to medical doctors to private sector leaders. The TTF Country Director reports to the TTF Zambia Board Chairperson.
